Little Mez by Margo's

This late-night taqueria and tequila bar stays open until 1:00am from Wednesday to Sunday, making it one of the few Queenstown venues built for post-dinner drinks and snacks. Inside, dark timber, glossy tiles and neon signage set the tone for an upbeat, after-hours crowd.

The drinks list is built around tequila and mezcal, with tasting flights for exploratory types and a margarita menu that includes chilli-spiked and fruit-led twists. Boutique spirits are a focus, matched by a short food menu of tacos, sides and ceviche.

Run by the people behind neighbouring Margo’s, this spin-off skews bar-forward and compact, with high energy and a party-friendly playlist. We’d aim for a counter seat and stay late.
