Set right on Queenstown’s lakefront, this all-day spot offers relaxed dining with a prime view across Lake Wakatipu. The space is rustic-industrial, with exposed beams, concrete floors and large windows that let in the light.

The menu is built around small and large plates designed for sharing. It’s driven by seasonal local produce, with dishes like pork belly bites, lamb ribs and South Island seafood making regular appearances.

Wines and beers are mainly regional, and the short cocktail list suits the easygoing tone. We’d aim for a lakeside table in the early evening.

Bookings are a good idea during busy spells, but the bar area takes walk-ins. It suits a laid-back lunch or casual dinner with friends.
