A woven, CNC-cut steel façade is the first thing to hold your attention at Tori Tori Temístocles. Designed by Rojkind Arquitectos, with interiors by Esrawe Studio, it filters light and shadow before you even sit down, setting up a restaurant where the architecture is part of the meal rather than a backdrop.
Inside, the layout keeps shifting. There is a dedicated sake bar, an al fresco terrace, a tea salon, a lobby bar and a small garden, so dinner can feel quite different depending on where you land. The design is deliberate: sightlines, texture and filtered light create separate pockets of atmosphere without losing the sense of one coherent place.
The restaurant relaunched in 2026 as TORI under chef Marcelo Hisaki, with a contemporary Japanese menu. The cooking suits the setting: chef’s nigiri combinations, including nine varieties of nigiri and a simple roll, sit alongside an extensive sashimi selection and a serious sake programme.
