Down a narrow alley in Arrowtown, this compact, stone-walled bar has a working fireplace and a low-lit interior that stays cool in summer and cosy in winter. Blue Door Bar follows a classic cocktail programme with a solid pour, alongside Central Otago wines and top-shelf spirits.
Live music is a regular feature, typically acoustic or jazz, depending on the night. There’s no dining menu, but a few snacks are offered. We'd stop in before dinner—or stay through the last set.
