This plant-based restaurant in Collingwood takes a bold, chef-led approach to vegan cooking. At Smith & Daughters, Shannon Martinez and her team serve a constantly changing menu shaped by Mediterranean and Latin influences, including house-made charcuterie and large-format mains.
The space is dark and energetic, with industrial materials and candlelight creating a distinctive mood. We like the bar seats for a closer view of the kitchen’s pace. Drinks include natural wines, cocktails and solid non-alcoholic options.
Bookings are advised later in the week, when the Brunswick Street dining room stays busy well into the evening.
